It's also the rim that's OEM in Canada. Partial Chrome and Partial Smoky. The US one's are smoky only. Not sure what they're doing in the rest of the world.

a katana is only considered authentic if they use the traditional TAMAHAGANE method. Where you have that wavy design on the blade. Which comes from the clay used to cause two parts of the blade to cool at different rates, giving the sword its curve.
