Default New shoes! 275/35ZR/19

WOW... i highly recommended everyone doing this to the F... i donno why Lexus didn't do this from the beginning... it didn't cost more for the tires... compared to the 255?.. but anyways... i got michelin PS2.. and i must say... very impressed... I CANNOT peel out anywhere so for its crazy.. even with VSC off... unbelievable... going to the track tomorrow hopefully if it doesn't rain!

I also just got the 225 in front.. didn't see the reason to change that part.. but I did get 4 micheline's compared to my original Bridgestone...

HIGHLY recommended... im a happy camper today!

ohh yah.. i forgot to mention the car looks lowered for some reason?.. looks good tho

Really, is that recommend? To keep the 225 in front with the 275 back? Shouldn't you move the fronts to say 245?

So you did stock size on the front and went from a 255 to a 275 in the back?
I assume it looks lowered because the sidewall is slightly taller? Does it make your wheels look smaller? Post some pics!!
Oh yeah, any rub issues? does the tire seem to fit on the rim ok? Or does it look like a marshmallow?

Did you consider 275/30/19 and if so, what made you go with the 35 series instead?

To get diameters to match of the front and rear 19" tires:

Front 235-35-19
Rear 275-30-19

That's what I'm running on my IS350 w/19x8.5 and 19x9.5 rims.

I'll be going 265 in the rear for sure when the time comes. I don't know if I'd go as big as 275 though. Post some pics when you get a chance.

I really don't know too much about tires.. I just wanted the PS2... and I told the guy to put the biggest tires that would fit on the rims... but it really is a awesome drive now... I hated peeling out through 1st and 2nd gear

Nice.. slightly beefy but looks ok! Yea having 275s in the back definitely improves the traction. You'll also notice that the car feels more planted and stable, right?

I agree on the beefiness. Looks ok but maybe a 30 series would be better?

Yeah a 30 series would look better but the size you have on there probably rides better
