Arrow Gauging interest in functional IS-F Carbon Fiber Front Lip

Hey Guys,

In regards to our new carbon diffuser here https://www.clublexus.com/forums/clu...user-is-f.html

We had people asking if we would make a front lip for the IS-F that would also be fuctional. Being new to the Lexus marketplace, we would love to make this part, but we want to first see if there is enough interest in this part. The carbon front lip would be in the $650-$750 range, and if you already bought, or buy our diffuser, we will take $100 off the order total.

So we are trying to see who would be interested in this, and if you would be willing to leave a $200 deposit to help fund the project, and we will begin once we purcahse a front bumper. Of course your $200 would be applied to your front lip. We are looking for about 7-10 people ready to leave $200.

Check out our site at www.etkms.com and see the lips we have for Mercedes, it would look somewhat similar, however of course modified, and will have a very integrated splitter style to it. The part would also be designed and tested using our simulated wind testing software. The same software we use when designing aero parts for race applications.

Thanks!
Neal

Hey guys so I asked Euroteck if they can make a similar design to the Five Axis lip and change up little to make it more aggressive. This lip you see in pics was made by Five Axis for SEMA show and will not be in production as Joe Z said in previous threads. I respect Euroteck as a company with unique design and creativity and want in no form to bash them in copying something. It was my personal interest to ask them to make a similar design lip. I posted to see if there is more interest from fellow members. If there is enough interest a modified lip can be produced.

If you interested in this lip design please post.

^^ from what I read people are more interested in functionality than aesthetics.

Yes. Ill probably be down but it needs to be able to hand 170mph without a problem. Any thoughts on what the limit will be with the lip? I have the S4play diffuser and it handles 170 without a problem...

PLEASE no gaps, gaps between the lip and the bumper looks stoopid I love the look of the C63 AMG lip on the website though.

I will want one eventually, but undecided right now. Count me as a "maybe," if you're keeping tally.

Not definite on this 5 axis design either but if it looks a lil more like the Toms lip but a bit more aggressive id be in

For me its about clearance and that 5 axis looks like i'd be able to shovel my driveway in the winters

The lip would have no issues at any high speeds. Just curious, what type of driving are you doing? track? or just ripping it upon open highways?

When you say no gaps, do you mean a gap that is there on purpose? or a gap meaning bad fitment?

"Purpose". I hate toothy grins. If the point of a splitter is to keep air moving fast underneath, and have air standing on top of it, having teeth (GAPS) to let air through seems counter-intuitive, and looks silly.

Case in point.... *shudder*
