Just a heads up. I've been following HPS since they've been making their own silicone intake tube. Looks great plus the price is great(compared to icodes). Imma order mine tomorrow As soon as it comes in I'll post up pics
bet there will be lots of peeps buying this... although heat soak from the intake is debated by many... (as the air is in the intake so brief a time, that it's not significantly heated up....)
I have the iCode and and the Takata. The Silicon intake naturally doesn't get heat soaked but the Takata gets very hot, very quickly.
I am sticking with the iCode and I would say if the HPS is the same design it will be a nice option.
great find. are you going to use a different filter with this? or just stock filter. Thinking about purchasing these.
I'm using the aFe wet drop in filter

It can be debated but then why do all car manufactures make the oem intakes outta plastic instead of aluminum? All in all its like the JoeZ tube, it straightens out the air flow and prob keeps it a bit cooler

You should, this piece probably cost em 10 bux to make lol
very interested... but... according to their prototype that they tested in their blog, it states the prototype was a 4-ply silicone... but the production one, they mentioned it was only a 3-ply silicone tube... i would think the 4-ply would perform better...
HPS is a great company, they make various intake tubes for many cars and it all has performed well as well as the fit and finish. If I didn't have my Joe Z intake I would of snatched this right up!
