Header install and now first code
P0159
Oxygen Sensor
Circuit Slow
Response Bank 2
Sensor 2
PERMANENT
This first happened about half a week ago about a month after install. I just unplugged the battery to reset it for my big meet and drive last Saturday. It came back this morning, so I took it to have it scanned and above is what we got. Which O2 sensor is this? Also, does it mean a bad O2 sensor, or could it be the cause of an exhaust leak? When we put the Joe Z exhaust on, there was some rattling by the header on the passenger side, so we adjusted how the header meets the exhaust. We noticed that there is the slightest gap between the PPE headers and the Joe Z exhaust, so we're wondering what the deal is there. Any thoughts on this current situation? We just erased the codes for now, but I'm wondering what my plan of action should be.

Might be some helpful info in that thread. Make sure everything is grounded well and all exhaust junctions are snug.
I had codes about every 5-6000 miles for the first 12,000 miles. I haven't had a code in over 15,000 miles I believe now.

Yeah, I read that thread right after posting. It seems to be the passenger side O2 sensor, which coincidently, is the side we adjusted for the rattle. Anyone else have small gaps where the header and exhaust meet? My car does seem really loud as well and has a major blow off valve sound when revving. Sound like an exhaust leak to anyone? What's the best method on checking for leaks?

having the same exhaust leak sound on the right side of my sikky/borla setup. also, anyone else have any noise under passenger side under load around 2500-3000 rpm's? taking mine in next week to double check everything but it's driving me crazy with the noise.

Going in tonight to check for leaks where the header and exhaust meet. Also, bought 2 more gaskets from PPE, but haven't received them yet. Haven't thrown any more codes since deleting them last week. I'll keep everyone posted.

Wanted to update this thread. On May 11th (after my 3rd code), I decided to double up the PPE gaskets where the headers meet the Joe Z exhaust. I did this even though we never found any leaks using soapy water. I also took out both O2 sensors and swapped sides. So far, so good. No more codes. The strange thing was, I was throwing the code the same way all 3 times. Driving down the highway for 10 minutes or so, and then down shifting when hitting the offramp. Every time the code went was the 4-3 downshift. Strange, but I'm going to knock on wood and hope I fixed it.
