Stolen/Totaled IS-F
Hey guys I am a new member here and I am seeking some advice. I recently bought an IS-F from a dealer out of state. I flew over there and did all the paperwork got the title and made sure it was in pristine conditions. After that I had them ship the car to where I live. About a week later 3 days before my car was supposed to arrive the dealer calls and says that the car is shipped. The following day he calls me back saying that someone stole my car from the shipping yard and a couple of days later they said that it was found and that it was totaled. I have been in contact with their insurance and they know that it was their fault and they have been cooperating with me on getting my money back. My question is how much should I realistically be expecting to receive back from them? I purchased the car for a very good price so I was somewhat livid that all of this went down. Would it be far fetched to ask for more then what I purchased the car for because it was their fault that it was stolen and that I can not find another IS-F for that price with that many miles in that color and condition? Should I perhaps seek a lawsuit if they are not willing to work with my demands? I am sorry for all the questions but im just bummed out that this happened. Any advise would be appreciated. Attached are pictures of the car after the wreck.

Sorry to hear you lost it before you got it. Stinks
Realistically? What you paid is what you should expect.
You can link an image from another site, but can't attach until you have more history.

sorry to hear that but i think DaveGS4 was right what you paid is what you should expect to get it back since the car its still in transit and its lost on the way to you, i think you cannot demand more anything from that. Or if you still want to buy another car from the same dealer where you've got ur ISF then they might be can negotiated the price dropped on your next car.

I really do appreciate the answers guys! Thank you so much
I do apologize that I didn't make sense English isn't my first language. The IS-F was stolen from the shipping companies facility. It is a small family run shipping company from what i have been told from the dealer. The car was not shipped out yet. The day it was suppose to be shipped out was the same day it was stolen.
Awesome thank you for the link i didn't even think about it! i will upload pictures asap

I'm guessing you didn't have your car insured yet because you hadn't taken possession? If not, all you deserve is what you paid. They might be making money off of it though because I'm sure the shipping company is insured and they will get the actual KBB value of the car. FTW!

WOW they really did a number on your car. Sorry to hear that. I think as long as you get what you paid for it you should be happy and if the dealer wants to comp you for your time and troubles but other then that what you paid seems fair.
