Due to unforeseen circumstances, my rims on the passenger side were scratched up. Since I really didn't like the original color to begin with, this was a great opportunity to repaint them. I choose "graphite" color powder coat. It's a darker shade than the OEMs for $125ea wheel (paint and repair) + 15ea for mounting and balance. Hyper silver looked interesting, seen here. But cost about $250ea because they are a three layer process (chrome, smoke, clear coat)! These were done at Cascade Wheel in Lynnwood. They do great work and I heard about them from friends. ![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

I've thought about it too. I think with a tungsten pearl car, the wheels look better when they're just a little darker. I actually like how they look when there's just a little bit of brake dust on them.

They've done a very clean job with the paint! ![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I hope you don't mind if I say this: The first impression that I get when I see this color is brake dust on the wheels.
Still this is a matter of prespective and taste.
Thanks for sharing your pics!
