HID Replacement Help !
So I've replaced my parking lights and fogs and they look whiter / bluer than the stock 43xxk HID's in the low beams. I ordered my 6000k D4S bulbs from XenonDepot and they just came in. When I went out to my car today and took off the covers, I couldn't find or see what I needed to take out to replace the bulbs.
Does anyone have a picture where they could show me how or where to take out the low beams?

I took these for a fellow member awhile back.
Take off the washer fluid nozzle to expose the dust cover.
Pull that bar towards you to open it.
Then turn the power cable for the bulb couter-clockwise.
Top clamp push in and down. The bottom clamp push in and pull up.
Remove the bulb and you're good to go!
Hope that helps. On the passenger side same step but have to remove the air box.

what brand/model # of parking lights and fogs did you go with that are whiter and bluer than the stock HIDs? And to clarify, those upgrades are now brighter than your stock HIDs - that's why you are now upgrading those bulbs as well?
Can you change out the running lights, fogs, and parking lights, and have ALL white/blue colored lights for the whole front end?

those for parking lights (white)
fogs are...hold on...
http://www.racinglab.com/luminics-blue-9006.html
Well, not brighter, but im worried about color matching compared to the led SMT bulbs (which are white white white), the oem hid low beams are only (white)...fogs are nice and blue but not as blue as 8000k - they are 6000k but actually look 7000k... just ordered some Xenon Depot 6000k D4S bulbs and hopefully those will look the REAL (white white white) HID white and color match my parking light and fogs
as far as light output, higher you go in temperature the lower you go in light output
DRL - daytime running lights are your high beams running @ 20%
Parking Light - lights on at night time (little bulb in the corner next to your DRL)
I actually use high beams so I can't replace with an LED... I probably could replace with a higher temp bulb but eh :P
mine is the 2nd IS from left... furthest IS on left is 8000k low beams, parking light changed, fogs to 3000k (MoLexus)
ill post a pic up after im done installing the 6000k
oh and THANKS for the pics and info!!!!!

ahhh, got it. Thanks for the clarification.
So there are:
DRLs - those are the high beams running at 20%. You didn't change those.
Parking lights - you changed those out to match the stock HID
fog lights - you changed those out to match the stock HID
Stock HID - you left intact
Is there any reason to change the bulb in the stock HID lights? Does that effect the inner-workings of the light in any way?

Skyraven4 - in the pic above, your car (white IS - second from left) looks great. It looks like the parking lights, fogs, and stock HIDs match pretty well. Is it different in person?

There isnt any reason to change the bulb in the stock HID lights... great outward projection, great light output. It's just that the parking lights are pure white (maybe a tingey blue) and the stock HID lights aren't as white as I wanted. When I switch to my 6000k bulbs, i will have less light output, but i will have a pure white (slight blue) to my low beams, matching my parking light and fogs. If you look closely (but closely) my low beams are a little duller :P if anything i want them to be bright and match
apparently with these xenon depot bulbs, you dont lose much lumen so light out put isnt lost that much
