No, I'm right. The sidewall height is not 10.7 inches. Look it up yourself if you don't believe me.

The sidewall height is not 10.7 inches you know why?

275mm (width) / 35 % sidewall ratio / 18" (inner diameter)

The result side wall height is in mm. Divide by 25.4 mm per inch and you will get your sidewall height in inches.

Actually I retract my statment, I am right as of what I said above, but I don't know what section width is? lol, sorry!

A 265/30/19 has a section width of 10.6", which may work better.
The reason a 275 tire is a 275 tire is because it's 275 mm wide. That's what the 275 in 275/30/19 means. The 30 is the aspect ratio - which in this case means the sidewall height is 30% of the width, and the 19 is obviously the wheel size. So a 265 tire, no matter the aspect ratio (sidewall height) will always be 10 mm narrower than a 275 tire.

If you roll your fenders and then lower the car to where it tucks, I still have an inch or space, cambered. NO rubbing, and I'm on +36 offset, but I wanna get 25mm spacers, so it can be +11 offset, about the inch I was looking for. I'm running 245/35/19 in the rear with 19X10.5.Who thinks it'll work? I wanna be DUMPED and SUPER FLUSHEDD!
Theres not much to answer, if you're willing to roll the fender, then you can make anything fit.

Reallly? Because I wanna be dumped and flushed really crazy like ..

http://my350z.com/forum/media-share/...d-flushed.html

These guys!
So I was trying to figure it out because i have like 1 inch left of space between tire and fender with the rolled/shaved fenders and 25mm is about an inch, so I was wondering if it'll work, to look like those Z's in the link! Because that is just SICK! Right now I'm on +36 offset and if I get the 25 mm spacers I'll have +11 offset, on a 10.5 width of a rim. And I'm on 245/35/19 TIRES! So can I please have more input? THANKS, and thanks a bunch for the response javyLSU! =)

Section Width = inner sidewall to outer sidewall measurement.

I believe that the 265 and 275 measurements apply to the tread width.

However, I figure that both section and tread width should be taken into account when trying to determine if one tire will rub vs. another. You guys can correct me if I'm wrong.

Are you planning on using spacers for the back? If you want to get dumped and super flushed you need to stretch more than a 245 IMO, if you want a solid answer ask REV-01, he knows his sheet

Section width has nothing to do with the tire's tread. The first number of a tire's size is the tire's "section width." So a 265 tire is 265 millimeters (or 10.4 inches) wide. Correspondingly, a 275 is 275 mm (10.8 inches) wide, and a 255 is 255 mm (10 inches) wide. That's the way tires are sized - what you saw on Bridgestone's spec listing was undoubtedly a typo. There's no way that the same model 265 tire, from the same manufacturer, can be wider than a 275 tire. That's like saying a pair of Air Jordan's in 9.5 would be bigger than a 10.5.

Javy is correct I think that montgb, or I was assuming I should say, was talking about the contact the tires will make?? If not then I was wrong in what I was posting.
