Anyone got pics of their smoked or tinted taillights?

Here's a picture of all different taillights, pictures don't do justice...my smoked tails look different when it's sunny and when sun is going down. But if your car is SGM, I think light smoke looks really nice..just not black out haha. jw but are you in norcal or socal?
Sorry, I don't have close up pictures of mines

I say you leave the tail lights just the way they are.
Tints make it harder for people to see your car at night when you're turning, etc.
Many a time have I cursed at cars with heavily smoked lights because you can barely see them
also, they're sexy

I would say get them painted. I had the Aerotect, and they were fine. But then I decided to have them painted and it looks so much cleaner. It just looks more natural. From a distance they looked the same, but up close, the paint looks factory while the aerotect had seams and not the same shine.
Plus the cost isn't that much more. I think I paid $65 for the aerotect and having a body shop paint the tails was only $100.

i had some cheap ebay brand smokes.
it was really light but also dark enough to notice i had smokes. there was no problem with seeing my brake lights.
this is the only picture i have of it.
but i took them off kuz some lady rear ended my and ruined my taillights. and it wasnt because she couldnt see my brake lights, she was on the phone and wasnt paying attention.
if you want a light smoke for tails, go to aerotect.net and get the steel (35%) light smokes. and they do a really good job of installing.

believe me if i actually owned the IS, thats would i would do. i had the tails from one of my past cars painted and it was much darker and looked much better. unfortunately there are cons to doing that. since my car is leased i have to stick with overlays.
