Default Painted Emblems and Grille!!!

Hey people

yesterday, i decided to paint my emblems and grille. i only had enough time to do the "LEXUS" and "IS250" emblems. i will be doing the "L" today.
painted them BLACK PEARL. looks good, i think. and it cost WAYYY less than the real one.
im redoing my grille today so no pics. it came out too light so im gonna put on a few more coats to make it look better. the color is the same, black pearl.
i used these 2 DIYs
how to take off grille

how to paint

tell me what you guys think.
sorry for the crap iphone pics and the dirty *** car. HAHAH

ALSO, i stuck on the emblems with 3M tape. my friend told me to use silicon. whats better? and if i used silicon, how would i take it off??

thanks
andrew

UPDATE!!! PICTURE OF PAINTED GRILLE
here is the finished product of my painted grille. its not professional work but please feel free to comment. its hard keeping the "black chrome" look kuz the paint doesnt stick to the stock chrome. anyways, even though there are some spots, i say it came out pretty well.

Since the stock emblem are chrome, just spray clear black ontop of it to get the "black pearl" look.

I like how the CF spoiler looks. Emblems look good! Can't wait to see how the front grill turns out.

Just yank it off. Sewell provided a great little plastic tool for getting the emblems off. This was a great help because it didn't scratch the paint. Mine was a pain because my car is so old.
