What tire size is currently on your vehicle? 17 or 18? I have the specs for 2 types of oem tires for 2007 IS250 RWD:
Tire size
Front tires: 225/45R17 95V
Rear tires: 245/45R17 95V
Spare tire: T125/70R17 98M
Tire size
Front tires: 225/40R18 88Y
Rear tires: 255/40R18 95Y
Spare tire: T145/70R17 106M
Tire size
Front tires: 225/45R17 95V
Rear tires: 245/45R17 95V
Spare tire: T125/70R17 98M
Tire size
Front tires: 225/40R18 88Y
Rear tires: 255/40R18 95Y
Spare tire: T145/70R17 106M

Change the size of the rear tire to either 245/40/18 or 255/35/18. It's cheaper to find the rear tire that way. They both fit fine on stock rear rims.

My stock bridgestone potenzas are 255/40/18 rear....
TireRack.com also lists 255/40/18 as OEM size...

So, no, im not kidding...
As for good tires ... some of the more popular ones are Bridgestone Potenzas, Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, and Michelin PS2s....
