Default My Flat Black Lex!

I know that there are alot of mixed opinions about flat black cars these days, but i decided to get mine done regardless. Its actually still sitting at the shop but i was going nuts, so i had my boy send me a pic of it. Hopefully gonna pick it up on monday!

Please don't flame my car. If you are just going to hate, please don't.

These pics sucks but it was taken from his iphone. (Oh and there is a gap between the hood and the grill because the hood isnt even installed yet. Its carbon fiber.)

tell me what you think?

Yours looks like flat black primer, don't worry I'm not hating. I love flat colored cars but maybe its the picture.

Hmm.. Hopefully it's just the cell phone pics, but it doesn't look quite right - almost like its unfinished. Johnnyboy didn't do you any favors by posting his car in this thread.

If I could make a recommendation: the CF hood looks out of place. Perhaps you should consider painting either the entire hood or parts of it. Or, consider adding the entire Seibon kit (a la RobsIS250).

Good luck.

it's looking great with this color...I love it...In my opinion, I would prefer a darker matte black... It seems more like matte gray for me .Have you thought on the color maintenance cost? I heard is really hard to maintain the color.

Actually very easy to maintain this color, just wash with Windex haha

I was about to say, looks good but Johnny did it better. Maybe it's the pictures but the color of the matte black just looks off.

Trust me, i've done my research. My car is painted an actual flat black, such as rob dyrdek's car. Johnyboy's car on the otherhand, is painted a different variation of flat black, maybe a bit darker. I don't know why exactly you decided to post your car johnnyboy on this thread, but now people have my car confused with being "flat grey".

I'll try to post some better pics later, so that johnnyboy and I can have an actual comparison of our cars. Some pics that aren't taken by an iphone.

looks good.. I say paint your wheels flat black as well and add some spacers to push for an even flush then add a GFX then your set.
