Launching

depends on many things. if its cold, what tires do you have, how much weight on the car, etc, etc.
but assuming your car is stock, its about 80 degrees outside, you have the spare tire and jack on the car, and a full tank:
I powerbrake at 1500 and punch the gas.
If it is 35 degrees outside, you have spare tire and jack of the car, low tank of gas:
I launch at around 1100 rpm and hit the gas.
also depends on tire psi, and the track you go to.

Lexus Champion
hold traction button for 4 seconds
rev to 3500 rpm
3 honks
drop the clutch
spin through first
chirp 2nd and catch traction
i found this to work very well. If I launch anywhere below 3500rpm, the engine bogs out and catches traction in first gear, big no-no. It's better to spin through first gear entirely and then grab traction in 2nd gear. Man i love driving a manual car xD
