Steering Damper?
#16
okay so i just got it today and installed it
installing is just a piece of cake and not gonna take you more than 15 mins
and there's no need to disconnect the battery or whatsoever
but it is necessary to prepare a Torx screw driver to open the steering wheel
after installing the steering wheel feel heavier
i can tell even it is snowing like there's no tomorrow
i believe it would feel more obvious when its dry outside
and I'll try to feel if there's less vibration after installed

ISBU installed my dampener tonite and here is my review:
Ok just some basic info, my car is on teinSS coils, 19"rims 35series tires, very firm ride and i feel everything on the road.
There is a immediate noticeable difference in steering wheel vibration, its not dramatic but enough to cut the vibration causing less driving fatigue in your hands. You WILL notice it, for 30bucks you cannot go wrong, i highly recommend this for anyone with a modified setup.

Darell at Sewell now knows of this thread and the part numbers. I ordered mine today and it was $32. Can't go wrong with that. I'll comment when it's installed with my new steering wheel!

i think it just makes stiffens the steering so it doesn't feel like its floating...
but what i want to know is what vibration did it reduce ... if you got vibration through the steering wheel... thats another problem ... but is it the way the steering wheel jerks left or right on bumpy roads?

In your first post you say you need the part number ending in 53020, but pictured the bag says that it is the 52020, and on the Sewell website it looks like the 12080. So which one is the one to order, just whichever one off Sewell's webiste?
