Would IS-F wheels look fine without lowering the car?

About to get these for my IS350... Would the car sit too high?

Is-f wheels are nice. But if you don't lower your car, you'll have that ugly huge gap inbetween. Lower then get the wheels =P

itll look ok, better than the stock wheel, but youll gain about 1/2" more wheel gap, and youl be about 1/2" higher off the ground. i say get them

You really, really need to lower if you get aftermarket rims or it won't look right. At least get springs.

It might look a little awkward, like everyone else has said, the rims will sit a little higher. If you want simple, just get some springs, (maybe spacers) and lower the car before you get the rims. It will look a lot better. Good luck.

You could do what I did and do a bunch of stuff (springs/coil install, swap TPMS, mount tires, etc.) at the same time at the same shop and ask for a good discount. You COULD do it piecewise, but it's more time and money IMO.

Default Sorry if I sound ignorant (I just got the car) , but what is the "swaping tpms" thing

I guess that those are Tire pressure monitoring system... do I need to change something? I am getting the wheels and the tires from an existing IS-F car

Yes and no. If you decide to drop with coils, since its adjustable...you don't need to worry. However if you are lowering your car with springs, you have to keep in mind that its a set height. Before getting aftermarket wheels, you want to know how low your car will sit after being lowered, this will help determine the correct wheel size and offsets so that it can prevent potential rubbing, etc. But best way to do it, always work on suspension first
