Its very nice! They use this as a cop car and taxi in Japan. I wonder why they don't export these to the US? Toyota "**** Camrys, they suck, this is the" Crown. LOL

Oh, and you guys probably know this, but this is the car that Tokita-san rases in D1GP, sponsored by Goodyear.

Looks like the LS430 to me... an LS w/ a 250 engine would be slow as all hell IMO.

if it were the same engine as the IS250, yeah, that'd be a lot of car for that engine. That is probably similar to what they use for the taxis and most of the daily driver type cars. However, this engine is available in a turbo version that puts out 280hp, yet still gets pretty good gas mileage. Its a high tech engine to be sure. My SC400 only has about 250hp and is a 4 litre. Of course, it isn't a turbo, and if I did put one on it, it would be ridiculously fast, but fuel economy wouldn't compare. Part of what makes the 2.5 fuel efficient is the variable valve timing, which the SC400 doesn't have. There's more to the 2.5 than that too, but I forget the details.

BTW, the drift car is obviously WAY tweaked and in now way slow. ;-)

I couldn't agree more. I'd love to see something like an M5 or even a 7 series, Lexus LS, or similar get out there and drift. It just looks amazing to see a big car do the bizness out there.
