Angry Any Lexus insiders here? Warranty Denial scenario.

I recently ran in to a scenario where Lexus denied warranty coverage on a said manufacturing defect. No reason for denial was offered in writing. All they said in written letter/email is this:

.....blah blah...very sorry that our response was not the one that you were hoping for......At this time, Lexus respectfully declines assistance with repair costs. We apologize the vehicle has not met your expectations. Please be assured that Lexus has documented your dissatisfaction for product improvement consideration. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

.....blah blah
How should I approach this matter now?

In my years of owning a non-lexus brand, never has warranty been denied so blatantly. If anything was ever denied warranty, there was always a written response why a said defect (usually wear & tear) was not covered under warranty.

I am shocked at this approach from Lexus.

Any help / directions on how to proceed would be appreciated.

If you are willing to share, what exactly was the part/repair that they are denying?

By "Lexus" do you mean a specific Lexus dealer or Lexus Corporate?

Not right now. I don't want Lexus corporate folks, if they are on this board, to be able to trace this discussion back to me. But rest assured, it is a manufacturing defect.

First Lexus dealer. So I approached Lexus Corporate and they basically regurgitated what the dealer said i.e. No warranty.

i can tell you right now why your warranty was denied:
1. it was your fault, or
2. you have modified your car, and that caused the damage/problem with your car.
Theres no other possible reason for denial.

But that is exactly what I want them to tell me. Viz. They are denying warrany because of

1. Customer's fault
2. I modded something in the car which has led to the said damage.

They are saying nothing. Just denying coverage.

Like I said, not right now. All I want to know is has someone run in to this scenario before? Once I feel more comfortable, i might reveal, not now. Rest assured, it is a manufacturing defect, but verbally the service adviser said that you may have caused it my improper usage. No evidence/proof provided by dealer/corporate to support that. I asked him to give that to me in writing. But no. All I get is the above letter and email from Lexus corporate.

Nope. It is not my fault. I know better than that to ask for warranty coverage on a part that is damaged due to my fault. I am an engineer with years of experience, and also in charge of the warranty process where I work. If anything I know what is and what is not covered under warranty. The only mod on my car is the HID lights and the problem is not related to anything electrical or even mechanical.

ok, i might be missing something, but have you tried asking them for an explanation for denying the warranty claim?

Yes. I have been asking for that for the last whole month. And finally I get this letter in mail, and an email.
