Check 4WD light and tmps
Hey guys,
I drive an is250 awd and i just got isp modes staggered put on with tires 225/40/18 for the fronts and 255/40/18 for the rears. I bought them from a CL member who has a 350. I kno that i am suppose to change the tires to F: 225/40/18 and R: 255/35/18 or F:225/45/18 R: 255/40/18 but it will have to wait for another week.
The thing is, would be be a concern to drive here and there for a few days? 2-5 tops.
When i picked up my car from the shop, the Tire pressure light is on. They are originals from previous owner, am i suppose to program them to my car or can i use my originals (stock OEM 17'' TMPS) and also the check 4wd light came on but disappeared now....safe to assume this is all from TMPS registering to car and tire size problem?

Old TPMS will work fine but I wouldn't drive the car until you fix the tire size issue.
Basically your center diff thinks one set of wheels is always slipping and trying to adjust for it... good way to ruin a diff. Which on a Lexus is I'm sure a really stupid amount of money.
