Default car won't start key is detected/swapped taillights

My 2006 IS250 detects both my keys/detects when they're not present.

It will not light up green (the start button) when I put my foot on the brake. It's as if it doesn't detect it.
I attempted to disconnect the battery ground (negative) wire and reconnect it and still nothing.

Only thing I did was swap taillights with a guy. I think these taillights I now have are from an 2009.
The harness attached to the most outter tails (the ones not on the trunk) have the three prongs that are wider then my 06 tails prongs. So I crimped the wires and matched up green with green / white green with white green / and black green with black green.

Surely that has nothing to do with the car not starting though?????

**UPDATE**
My brake pedal isn't registering at all. That seems to be the culprit. None of my brake lights light up nor can I move it out of park cause the car isn't realizing I'm pressing the brake pedal. Is there a way to reset the whole car even the radio presets? to see if maybe that will free up the brake pedal?

I've also disconnected the taillights and still nothing.
The car does allow me to go into acc mode but I still cannot get it out of park and at least into neutral so I can push it out of my garage and onto a tow truck. I'm so screwed.

UPDATE as of 11:30EST

For those subed to this thread I created another thread that details and has pics of my issue and now my cruise control working every once in awhile plus brake lights staying on half the time, ect...

It could.. the lights are connected to the gauge cluster and some other circuits because of the circuit of the reverse lights and the reverse indicator. Try disconnecting the lights and see if it starts?

I updated my first post. Disconnecting the tails also isn't helping.

Just checked emergency flashers. They work. So I wired the taillights correctly. It's gotta be my brake pedal. It's stiff as a board. I've put all my weight to try to get it to register that I'm touching the brake pedal and nothing. Brake lights do not work. Can't get car out of park.

IT's like I lost all brake boost from tapping the brakes while car was off that is why it's so stiff now. I'm no muscle man but I've put all my weight into the brake pedal and I can't get it to move for the life of me

It will still move enough, maybe time to check fuses, like the big 120 amp in the box by the battery, you'll see solid metal in a grey area with clear covers, make sure none of that looks burned or spilt

Even if you lost brake boost, you should be push the brake just enough for the start light button to turn green.

Thanks to LEXUSIS305 for PM-ing me. He knew exactly what the problem was. A 15A fuse on driver side under dash and a 7.5A fuse under passenger side. I blew them with my shetty wiring of infusing my 06 harness onto an 07 taillight. Seems the two aren't plug and play. I will solder my connection and try this again.
The car is turning on as of now.
Thanks again everyone.

I figured out why Cruise control is working half the time. Turns out my brakes are staying on until I tap them a couple of times. I verified with my wife. My other thread I linked above shows pics. Crazy stuff is happening.
First illuminated door sill plates aren't plug and play and now it seems taillights from other cars aren't plug and play.
I should have bought an 2007+ IS250

Thanks for your help on the fuses though main!!!!
