Default First Mod I DIY'd (HID lows/fogs)

This is the first mod I've done myself (not counting JoeZ intake) and I'm pretty proud of the results. My 2008 IS250 came with halogen headlights so an HID swap was a must.

I ended up going with XenonDepot's Xtreme kits for both the lows (5000k) and the fogs (8000k).
Wiring with the relays for both was a bit of a PITA but it was a fun learning experience.

I know yellow is the preferred style for fog lights but I'm just not a fan.
Also, I know the wire loom is pretty unnecessary but I had some blue laying around and thought it would look good with the blue JoeZ, and F-sport sways.

Final product, iPhone camera makes them look greener than in person

Looks good. Why'd you go with 6k and 8k just curious?

I like the blue wire loom actually (and had no idea that's what it's called, so thanks).

I went with 5000k for the headlights because I like the blue-ish tint but didn't want to sacrifice too much visibility. For the fog lights, I chose 8000k because I didn't mind the loss of visibility and wanted a nice blue tint.

Nice work. The blue in your engine bay looks nice too.

5000k and 8000k? seems little off to me
maybe you can try 6000k in fogs?

8000k is bluer than 6000k which is what I was going for.

I dig the combo!
Though I wonder if I could get away with the 8000k's here in Kalifornia w/o getting pulled over.

Upgrade your parking/city bulbs with a white led from v-leds and you'll be set. Looks good, and you cant go wrong with the quality of xenon depot

Did you take off the bumper for the fog install or did you go behind the from the wheel well? I've got my HID fogs in weeks ago but don't know which way to proceed lol. How long did it take you?
