2008 IS250 Acceleration whine
So i searched and didnt come up with anything so here i am....
I bought a used 2008 IS250 and the car has been amazing...I love it with all my heart. It's still under warranty now so I'm trying to get everything taken car of this year before I'm forced to buy the extended next year when the factory one runs out.
Anyway...my question: When I accelerate, I hear this whine the increases and decreases with engine RPM....sounds like a supercharger...doesn't matter what gear, neutral, etc. I always hear it.
Is this normal for a 250?

I had that same problem in my 94 saleen. The wine came through the stereo and got louder with the RPMS. I had to replace the amp for the stereo and it went away. take it to your local car stereo place. they will know how to fix it.

I completely forgot about the whine the IS250 gets when using the Aux-input. Do you get the whine even with the stereo off? There is a TSIB for a whinning noise coming from the stereo, it happens when you are charging your device and and using the aux-in at the same time. If that's when its happening for you, a simple line filter is needed and its covered by a TSIB if your still under warranty.
