Hi CL, I just got my Lexus IS250 tint at Dr.tint yesterday for but for some reason every time that I use the radio and the rear defroster all I get is static on the radio? Can anyone help me out with this? Or a similar experience?

Did the tint shop use metallic film to tint the windows?

Im not even sure if it was metallic or not I'll have to call him and ask him tomorrow.

Also depends on what you paid for or if you specified what tint brand/model requested as well.

I had the same issue with my 2007 IS250. Took it to the dealer under factory warn. and got the rear window replaced. Thats fixed the problem.

Are you located in Northern Cali? Dr Tint doesn't usually get the best ratings. Hopefully everything gets worked out for you.

yea i know..i was suppose to go to mr.tint but the name got me mix up. Anywho it went away, I believe the water dried out from the tint so its all good now.

I also have the 3M FX Premium carbon tint.... I made sure as I heard that other tints interfere with GPS and Cell reception.
