Yea thats true, Ive also heard of some authentics having fitment issues. B16da9 recently bought an authentic one and fitment was spot on. Guess it's all luck of the draw.
But still, unless your in a very small town, most shops will charge from $50-$70 to paint the spoiler locally.
IMO, yes it's only $50 more to paint, but is it worth this wait and anticipation of what the fitment might be?
One member got one damaged and hasnt even gotten a respond from the seller.

Fitment pretty much is luck of the draw. Mine fit great but I have heard of some fitting good , so so and horrible. I would just be prepared to mold it soon as you get it. If it fits great then maybe you can hold off on molding it. If it fits not so great then straight to the body shop you go :-)

i bought one from them and the fitment was horrible. i was planning on molding it anyways so if the fitment was off a little i would fix that in the molding process. when i received it, i placed it on the trunk and i could stick a finger in one of the sides and the other side had a smaller gap. i returned it to them and they refunded my money. i bought an authentic one and it was spot on.

Yeah I heard the next mod ones suck. I have seen 4 personally and they all were way off. Carking his are is close to authentic as you gonna get. It's either gonna be spot on or a tad bit off. Not way off like the next mod. If you not gonna mold it. I would consider a authentic one cause if it's not perfect they will stand behind it most likely. But if you not **** go with car king. You will save money and you got a 90 percent chance of great fitment. And a 10 percent chance of good fitment . I never seen one from him that was less then a 8.5 out of 10. My 3 wings I got from him were a 9 and 9.5 out of 10
