success...second IS250 with IS300 Torsen LSD
Well today I took the day off from work and headed over to my friends shop to install the LSD. The fist impressions after the install with TC off is . The car gets great traction and leave two nice black marks on the road. I've yet to take any real hard corners with is to get a feel for the turn. However I drove from the shop to my house with the TC off the entire way and car felt great.
Well here are some pictures, unfortunately I was all into installing the torsen in that I did not snap any after we installed it.
I want to also give a big thumbs up to my friend Jorge over at JP Tuning in Hialeah Florida for the install.
LSD on the right none LSD on the left
all done with just the wheels needing to go back on.

Awesome!
Couple questions. How do you know which IS 300's came with the torsen LSD or not? Was it a particular package option that came with the car? Also, would there be a difference in the auto IS300 LSD than the manual IS300 LSD? I have a manual 250 and just curious if an Auto or Manual IS300 LSD would make a difference.

To every one asking me questions, all the research was done by member "Jeff Lange". Since I don't want to take any credit from all the work he did please see his thread bellow as he went into all those questions in detail.

The only thing I did was clean up the rust painted the housing and cleaned the inside with mineral spirits which was already pretty clean from the get go. After that it was a remove the old pumpkin and install the IS300/Torsen in.
For those that were asking on feedback. I took the car for a nice drive around a road near my job durring lunch and I can tell you that the turn in is a lot better now. With the TC/VSC off the car felt very well balanced and easy to control even when I got the rear end to kick out a bit .
