Default 6 Ballast Little Scared

Hey guys,
About to start tackling my next project for car. I want to swap all of my lights to HIDs/LEDs now I know if I go the HID route and i change out my Head Lights, DRL, and Fogs I will be dealing with 6 yes SIX BALLAST and I was wondering if there is any way around that.

I was maybe thinking going with LEDS for some of them but dont know which ones it go with LEDs and which ones to go with HIDs can I get some help. The look im going for is the all white look so im either buying 4300k or 6000k.

Price is an issue but not cheap. BALLIN" ON A BUDGET

There is no way around having a ballast for each bulb. However, why do you want HIDs for your high beams? They will disable DRL and they wont last long.

LEDs will be aesthetically pleasing. However, light output is low. I remember another CL member was complaining his low beam was brighter than his hi beam. Turns out he had LED high beams.

You can choose colored halogen bulbs, but they might not match your low beams.
LEDs are basically for looks only and will not "function" as high beams.
HID will be bright, but they need time to warm up, so you cant "flash" your high beams to
others.

The choice is yours.

DRL's are high beams on low power. If you change your DRL, you change your high beams.
There is a city light/parking light integrated in the high beam housing. Is that what you are talking about? You can change that bulb to LED.

If I put HID for my DRL/High Beams andmy city/parking lights I do LED and the fogs i do HID. Do I have all the stock lights covered?

HID for DRL/HI Beams will lose HI Beams due to the fact that bulbs operated two stages.
If I were you and I want to operate all the light to fully operate I will change,

Low Beams with Garax 8000K.

Change HI Beams and DRLs with this one.

City/Parking Light with this one.

Fogs will be any HIDs with your choice of brands.

I hope that helps.

For the most part. If you want to be technical, there are 2 more turn signal bulbs per headlight and a side marker bulb. By the way, this is only for 2006~2010 models.

Sorry, I don't know if its actually called a side marker light, but its the amber bulb that lights up the reflector in the headlight housing.

FYI. The amber side markers in the headlights are LEDs. These are soldered to a board and can be changed only by taking apart the headlights and desoldering the LEDs. They're not a plug in bulb.

At first I thought so too, but in thr service manual it is stated as wedge base type bulb. Maybe its a typo. Attached jpeg of service manual diagram.
