Default Alcantara wrapped console

Hi

After a lot of looking and pondering I finally managed to remove my centre console and trim the transmission tunnel in black alcantara on both sides. I did it cover a load of nasty scratches from the previous owner and am no considering doing the glovebox.

Your thoughts would be great

I wish it was that easy to do the dash cover and door panels.

Looks good!

Looks like you did a nice job! I paid a lot to have the 9 piece trim covered in alcantara...I would have everything wrapped if that material werent a magnet for lint....it drives me crazy!

Looks clean! GJ. The best part is that it serves two purposes. Congrats and keep us posted on the glovebox. IMO I would look at doing the whole lower half of the dash.

Thanks everyone

It was my first time at wrapping in fabric, just hope the glue holds!!!

Will look to do the glove box and probably the passenger knee airbag to ensure that it flows.

Would love to do the doors and dash but think my ambitions outweigh my skills at the moment

Great job! Looks fantastic! Very luxurious-looking.

How do you remove those panels? I know how to take out the console trim and ashtray, but never took that piece off before. Do I just yank it? (that's what she said...)

That looks very nice, the dash would also look great if it was wrapped. BTW where did you get the material, and is it expensive, and how did you wrap it?
