Use your seat belt, the alarm will go off. Save lives and don't get annoyed at the same time

Default Seat Belt

Google is your friend.

Turn power on and set counter to "ODO"

Turn power off

Turn power on, within 5 seconds, press and hold the trip-reset button

After 10 seconds, fasten the seatbelt

Release the trip-reset button

The display should now change to "B-off", turn power off and release the seatbelt.

The alarm is now disabled. To enable it again, same sequence but push the trip button once again with the seatbelt fastened. The display shows B-on.

You dont need a horn to remind you to wear your belt.

I dont need a buzzer to tell me to put on a seat belt. I always wear it.

Everyone should.

What I dont need is to listen to a nonstop buzzer. While I am working or cleaning the car. Or when I put something heavy in the passenger seat.

^^ Yeah that noise is very annoying when you are just trying to move the car around on the driveway. That's the main reason I turned mine off!

Not driving at all saves lives. Not leaving your house saves lives. Not having children saves lives. Having a annoying buzzer that goes off while sitting in your car does not save lives.

It's become such a habit by now that I feel weird not wearing a seatbelt.

seat belts don't save lives. It's the biggest conspiracy!

I learn to always wear mine. The warning light is enough for me so I turned the sound off. The procedure is pretty easy and I did it on my first try. The last few steps aren't timed so take your time.
