Default After 6.5 years, she is complete

Repaired, detailed, and clear-bra'd. Finished modding her a couple months ago (not that I have done super extensive mods). Here is the final product.

Options:
- Navigation with Mark Levinson audio
- Luxury Package

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
- HKS Hi-Power exhaust (Y-pipe and mufflers)
- Joe-Z intake pipe

Suspension Modifications:
- Tein CS coilovers with EDFC: Lowered 1.5" front, 1" rear
- F-Sport sway bars (front and rear)
- FIGS 90-durometer front LCA bushings

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
- AME Tracer FS-01's: 18x8.5" +48 front, 18x9" +31 rear
- 225 40 18 Bridgestone RE970A Pole Positions front
- 255 40 18 Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT rear

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
- GFX front lip
- Vaistech SLI iPod integration
- DVD/MP3/Bluetooth hack
- Red-out tail lights
- Huper Optik tint, 30% all around
- Suntek clear bra

I partly took these pictures to test out my new camera, and I was happy with the results. In the hands of a talented photographer, I think this camera could make for some very tasty pictures.

What a beautiful color, I really admire how clean you left the car... the paint looks immaculate judging by these pics!! Have you ever thought about putting on a trunk spoiler and complete the *** end with a rear gfx lip?

What kind of camera just outta curiosity?

Thanks, man. Yeah, my goal was try to to keep it fairly simple, yet still distinct. I'm not a big fan of the look of those trunk spoilers, I think they make the rear look a tad bit too busy for my liking. Similar with rear GFX (or at least what I think I remember the rear GFX looking like).

The camera is a Canon Powershot SX260. It's nothing SUPER high end, but it has been impressive for me, and it's about as much as I'm willing to spend on a camera. Those pictures are actually linked from my fb account, so they looked even better before facebook compressed them. I guess that's more info than you asked for, though.

I think the GFX Rear lip would compliment your exhaust really well. The oem spoiler is so clean I think if you don't go with the rear lip consider this to complete the rear as it isn't too busy looking at all by any means and it's oem.

Where about in TX are you located? I'm in SA.

I just don't like the lines that it adds between the spoiler and the hood. It's not bad, but I just think a car like this should be as smooth as possible. I'll give it another look next time I see one on the road, though.

I'm in the Dallas area (I know my icon belies that, heh).

I still remember your High contrast + low saturation combo.

I always liked your car, I had a crush on your wheels before. Great job. Simple and clean.

Although I suggest 2012 headlights will look much nicer. You're never done.

so are you really done modding though? if not, whats next?

im actually looking for a new digital camera that takes really good close up pictures without getting blured. i have a nikon coolpix 12.0 mexapixel but close up it sucks hardcore.
does your cannon take good close up shots that come out crystal clear?

But now that we're on the topic, Didn't want to paint the front caliper?

Haha. It looks clean! Ive always liked a stock(ish) look to the car... Nothing better than to see the small details upgraded.

I'm really done modding... 98% sure, at least, haha.

I'm not sure exactly how close up you mean, but I have used my camera to take a picture of some signed documents for closing on a mortgage before when I didn't have a scanner available, and the pictures came out crystal clear. So hopefully that helps answer your question.

Haha, yeah, I was once considering painting the calipers. I've considered tons of things, sometimes pretty seriously. HID fog lights, different colored LEDs in the interior, blacked out emblems, debadging, 2011+ headlights and tail lights. I guess I can't be sure that the itch to do one of those things will NEVER overcome me, but at this point I've decided that I don't want to put anymore time or money into this car aside from keeping her clean and running smoothly.

... Instead, I want to put that time and money into the roommate I plan to give her soon. In a year or two, I'm probably gonna get a C7.

A car is NEVER complete! If it is, you've not looked long and hard enough. LOL!

Love how clean and simple the overall look is...kinda what I'm going for. I'm even sticking with an OEM exhaust.

Simple and elegant. You can never go wrong with MRM on black wheels, nice choice
