Diffuser on Pearl White IS and Blue Onyx Pearl
I have just completed molding and painting this diffuser with 2 tone colors (Pearl White to match the car) and gloss black in the middle for the Lexus IS250 2012 Pearl White.
Check this out below:
Here is the overview
Here is the closer look, no gap, perfect color match and perfect fitment
I am extremely happy with this result
I'm planning to do the same project to the Lexus IS350 2006 Blue Onyx Pearl color. I am thinking about the following options.
1. Same like above. (Blue top and side to match car color + gloss black middle)
2. Blue top and side to match color + gloss yellow middle + 3 blue fins.
3. Blue everything
4. Blue top and side to match color + matte black middle (no paint) + 3 blue fins.
5. Blue top and side to match color + gloss white middle + 3 blue fins.
I want to have some contrast with 2 tone color but it is hard to do on the Blue Onyx Pearl car lol. Give me some inputs here.

That looks amazing! The mold makes it look so much cleaner. I will be doing this in the summer, how much was it to mold aprox? or did you do it yourself?
Your colour combination choices would really depend on how the other compliments are on the car ie. rims and brake calipers I'm guessing. I would say #1 would be the ideal choice , maybe if you wanted to add the 3 fins as blue to make it stand out.
The yellow or white would be harder to pull off w/o looking tacky, if you get the same colour rims it might look really good!
regardless looks great

Thank you for your compliment. I talked to the shop a lot before going with this option. On the white car, they strongly suggest the molding + painting option because this will give the best look. The molding and 2 tone painting cost a lot more than if you just paint the diffuser and install it with 3M tape. The gap will be very noticeable on a white car than a dark one.
Molding take them days and then they have to repaint the entire bumper after that. I also asked for 2 tone color, they have to wait for one part to dry and mask them before painting the 2nd part. They did a lot of great work. I give props to them.
Now I'm moving onto the 2nd car in blue. I have the calipers painted in yellow (like the Porche yellow) and I'm thinking to do 2 tone blue top/sides + middle yellow + 3 blue fins but i'm very afraid it will look tacky. Anyone can try photoshop this for me before I continue on this project? Thanks.

Thank you guys. Also thanks for the suggestion.
For the blue car, I would probably stick with the traditional way with 2 tone blue/black color with similar style like what i did to the white car.
Beside the the blue/black way for the blue car, what else can you guys think of that makes it look nice with good contrast?

I get it from LexusofMiami on Ebay. I bought a lot from them all together at very good price, as i remember, 280 for F Sport intake and 1100 for F sport exhaust both shipped. They ran solid for 2 years on my car.
