Ok so I lied, I emailed the pics to myself. The first pic shows the mirror removed. To do this, I turned the mirror all the way to the right and up. I stuck my fingers in the lower left and pulled up slowly with increasing power until you hear a snap? or pop?

The 2nd pic is me trying to show the 5 screws you need to undo.

Third pic shows the front housing (paint matched) removed (to do this, you slide forward (towards the front of your car). Only the black part stays.

The 4th pic shows the front view. the white piece you see is the puddle light housing. The dangling L piece is the turn signal light. To change the bulb you twist and pull out (like any other light bulb).

My instructions kinda suck, so follow the other guy's. I actually have a 15 min video of me doing the passenger side, I can upload any still from that if you need any more pics from any part of the process.

Actually just got this done on my own. Thanks for the pictures though(:

Took a while to figure out his to eject the tabs. Lol.

Any advice on removing the nasty lube that's all over my mirror now?

I use invisible glass to clean any glass. There hasn't been anything I couldn't get off of glass with that. somethings may require harder scrubbing.

Goo gone works too.

Hi, All-

I am looking to add this to my 3IS, the site precisionled.com has kit listed as a kit, the previous post suggest that they don't have them in stock? Am I missing something?

Fsportlex, can you please post instructions for the installation of the trunk light power strip. They look great by the way!

Did my mirrors today.
Was very afraid of breaking something, but the job was relativly easy and pain free.
When looking at the photos in this thread and reading the instructions a few times before doing the job, it was no problem.

The most fiddeling came when reattaching the mirror housing and holding both the indicator and puddle light in place when slipping on the housing. Also making sure all the clips on the mirror had been attached was a some fiddeling.

It is a very simple mod, sorry I didn't take any pics when I did mine. But this is must do mod. I hate the look of those ugly halogen puddle lights.
