Default Bent Frame Next to Jack Lift

Just noticed that it appears that the dealership failed to properly position the shop lift on the designated lift notches resulting in a large bend in the frame lip. Should I request that they straighten the frame or just expect more of the same every time the car goes in the shop. This damage must have occurred when the pre-delivery service was performed. The other side is slightly bent, so it appears that the technician was too lazy to properly align the lift under my IS.

I would let them know and ask them to fix it so they are aware and are more careful next time. If they don't have to fix their mistakes then what motivation do they have to take more caution!

Thanks for the reply. I plan to discuss with the service department before completing the customer satisfaction survey. I received a letter from the dealership today asking me to contact them if there is any reason why I would not give them all 10s.

Agree, and they should touch up any bare metal exposed from scratching so it doesn't eventually rust. I'm sure they will fully want your satisfaction especially in the midst of an owner satisfaction survey.

I don't buy that. They want to guilt-trip you into giving them all 10s.
