Default What did I do to my nav screen?

While I was cleaning my windows I wiped off my nav screen and I left this smudge I can't get off?! Help?! It was a microfiber cloth that was damp from windex. How can I fix it?

Try distilled water on a clean, lint free microfiber, and gently wipe it across. Follow with a dry microfiber.

Never use windex to clean anything for interior. It looks like ammonia from windex etched to the coating on LCD screen.

I doubt it. If you can't remove the ammonia damage you might ask dealer if they could replace it under warranty. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Try a little mild soap and water. If that doesn't work mix rubbing alcohol with 1/3 of water and see if that works. Don't let sit on the screen, simply wipe on and wipe off. I know plastic can be polished but I am hesitant to recommend this on a nav screen because it very likely has a coating to help prevent glare. Polishing it would remove the coating.
