I had put down the deposit for the LC Convertible since November last year and after the dealer failed to "allocated" it, they finally ordered 1 for me! Here is my concern, are they going to "marked up" the vehicle since it is ordered? I do not mind paying the MSRP or how do I negotiate the price? Are they allowed to mark up the price since I have been waiting for 4 months? Thank you!

 

You need to get an agreement with them in writing to buy the car for MSRP (or MSRP - $x) with no additional dealer add-ons or markups. You may need to leave a deposit of $1000-5000 which should be refundable. Without the agreement they are likely to install some "mandatory" high priced dealer installed items.

 

Always get the numbers in writing.

 

as said, if it's not in writing, they can do whatever they want.
