Wow, they ruined the best modern interior. The long fluid lines are now gone. Unreal. My 2018 LC with Apple Car Play and Climate Concierge is fine. Touchscreens aren’t always the answer, and here, it’s design suicide. Looks like I’ll be aiming for <= 2023 when I upgrade from mine in a few years.

To me the less-integrated dash is a clear downside, but overall I think it's better and worth it to get (more) modern touchscreen. If I was getting an LC at this point I would definitely be waiting for the 2024.

which parts though? I feel like he sent me pics direct from lexus. There were two others, basicslly just showing whats new for 2024. I had entered a bespoke order in February, but basically got rejected yesterday and said they won't do bespoke for 2024. The sheet shows the bespoke options (carbon wing removed) but if I can't put in an order for bespoke, not much I can do.

A year if you order now, or a year for all '24s? Concerned about those of us who had '23 orders flipped into early '24s.

based on the conversation, I felt as though both are the same. Keep in mind, the local dealer here probably sold 3-4 lc500s in total EVER. Not sure how much that comes into play. But my timelines were:
1, walk in feb14 - hello I want this this this, Deposit, done.
2. phone call end of march - you're car will be a 24 MY, will contact when we hear more
3. late april: you won't get a bespoke, but we can put you in for a 24 (with attached images).

I am okay with waiting. But I am not okay with waiting and then being told to wait longer. and then longer....and then longer. I do have an allocation for an r75 ftype 2024. which they told me delivery on august 8. If I knew the '24 lexus would be here in spring 24, thats not so bad.... but if i have to wait 2 years... that becomes an issue. Hoping the sales rep has more answers and realizes they could lose a customer. But I suppose sometimes they really just are told nothing.

Just talked to my SA again, she said since my bespoke order was accepted early this year, it is going ahead with MY2024 bespoke, but she still has no firm confirmation of build date(maybe June is the estimate)from Lexus Canada, they start building 2024 in May, the bespoke orders won’t start until June, she has heard, and she also said Lexus Canada is no longer taking bespoke order for the LC for MY2024.
Looks like this is a very limited production model, and the allocations are pretty tight

I'd be fairly cross if I had to wait an extra year... I'm being told I'll have my car by the end of June. We're actually really hoping for the LC to land so we can dump my wife's total lemon '22 V90 Cross Country wagon.

I gave up. In February they said a year at most. Then now they removed the ability to even order bespoke, so I can only get what I can get. They said it likely would be over a year. Getting deposit back. Maybe I'll wait it out a bit longer. Other reasons for canceling which I won't get into....but one day maybe!

I posted this in the other 2024 thread, but pertinent here:

I've received official confirmation - my '24 (Canada) Performance Pack coupe is being produced next week. ETA to dealer is the last week of June to the first week of July.

Got exactly the same message 3 days ago from my dealership’s Sales Manager. Fingers crossed. I’ve ordered the exact same package with Red exterior Carmel interior.

Seems like the best spoke still doesn't offer rear wheel steering, what a shame.

Really would like an LC with 4 wheel steering and a glass roof.

911S modestly equipped will be north of $140K. My 2022 911 base was north of $125K. Porsche prices are increasing rapidly and wait times are in the 18-24 month range. Then there's the Porsche parts and service costs...Great cars and excellent customer experience no doubt, but the LC continues to be a great value and by far, IMHO, a more attractive car relative to any competitor.

Agreed that Porsche prices are out of control. On the one hand, I realize that they have a lot of demand so they can afford to raise prices, but on the other hand they've gone too far. In March of this year, Porsche raised the base '23 911 from $106k to $114k --- same model year with no changes (and actually less colors to choose from) but $8k more. Even more crazy considering the '24 will be their mid-cycle refresh in a few months with 992.2
