Best sites for used/new car search?
Is there a way to check all of the Lexus dealer inventories in the entire country without having to go to each one's site individually? Many Lexus dealerships don't seem to advertise their cars on sites like cars.com or autotrader, etc.
As an example my local dealer has 3 LC 500's for sale on their lot and none of them are listed online anywhere except their own personal dealer website.

CarEdge.com is also good, it tracks how long a car has been in dealer inventory as well. You have to pay though but it's worth it if you can find a car that's been in inventory for many months I bet that dealer will be anxious to move it.

Penske, Autonation, etc. own several dealerships throughout the country. You might try their corporate site rather than individual dealer sites. I have had good luck with that.
penskecars.com
Samle search for all new and used LC coupes/verts yielded 11 results.

When I was in heavy duty search mode, I used autotrader.com, cars.com, and cargurus.com. However, I found out that not all dealerships promote their inventory on these sites. So, being type A, I created bookmarks for searches with about 50 dealerships nationwide, and when I had a spare 15 minutes, I did a click run through. Believe it or not, you get to recognize existing inventory at certain dealers and it doesn’t take very long. Warning, though - if you do a search that’s too specific, like for a certain color (mine was Nightfall Mica w/ TC interior), you can miss some— because some dealers don’t list the colors and if you see new inventory you need to drill down.
A random email from cargurus.com one Saturday evening in December alerted me to the only NM/TC on the way from the factory. Luckily it wasn’t allocated, and I’m 3 months into my LC experience.
