Default Lane Keep Assist for the LC500

Wondering if some have had a good experience with your lane keep assist. I have a 2018 LC500, and let's just say it's no bueno. Also curious to know if the newer model years have a better system.

With my 2019 it's pretty bad, just bounces it from edge to edge, useful for keeping the car in lane for a moment while I take a picture out the window but that's it. Approx 10 times worse than the system in our $30k 2021 Kia Seltos, which is fantastic, really aggressive.

That was one of the first things I turned off as soon as I got the car home. I pay attention while I'm driving to stay in my lane.

No, it's designed to kill you like ping pong ball, will go from one side to another with more and more force, and then kill you if you don't turn that crap off

But better than our 2017 Highlander and 2015 Lincoln MKZ. We never used it.

it's lousy in my '21, but should be better with the newer system in the '24s.

I have a ‘23 and the lane keep assist just barely guides you back. In fact if you have any heavy grip at all the LKA does nothing but beep. I have mine on. I am at 4711 miles already (daily driver and first day drive home was 1000 miles from Maryland to South Alabama )

Even my A6 C7 2011 had ideal lane keep assist, i cant believe lexus is a century behind, previous gen LS had identical trash lane assist as LC500, almost killed me during first test at higher speed, stupid me for trusting it

Works fine for me. Did a small 400ish km road trip and it was able to keep the car in the lane without fail. Even on slight bends and curves

I guess the LKA didn't change much from MY18 to MY23. I'd assume that the MY24 with the LExus Safety System 2.5+ will improve that....

Not that I care much for it, since I do enjoy driving the vehicle....but good to know.
