Bad day in my world
My dream car got crunched, dagnapit. Only good news is the wife and I are OK and it wasn't my fault. Anyone know the whereabouts of a exact replacement? Smokey Granite w/Toasted Caramel (but any tan/saddle would do). Help me get over this nightmare.

That is terrible. Hope I never have to experience that with mine.
Here is one I found in TX. They also have a 24 in your color on the way.

very sorry to see this, but glad you're ok.

It doesn't seem to take much for insurance companies to consider the LCs as totaled. I have been looking at pictures from salvage yards for interior parts and the cars don't look that bad. Carbon fiber and hood explosives are probably a big factor..
Sorry about your car 2ksoftail.

ohhh nooo. you didnt even have it for that long!!!! i recall you replaced the sc430 for this new ride.
Glad you and the wife are okay but
1) i wouldnt want this back even if they could repair it. The soft top mechanism after sustaining any rear damage is likely compromised and will lead to leaks.
2) repairs arent cheap and the value loss in car isnt worth it. You trying to sell a fixed LC will likely result in thousands of dollars less than a comparable accident free one.
Get them to write it off if you can. Diminished value is no joke.

Gonna take my time looking
was told it's a total. The trunk lid alone is $15,140.....just the lid. Is the Inspiration Model nicer than a loaded standard? I found a nice '22 for $100k. Don't love the red top, but it couls grow.

If there is any good news it's the at fault moron is gonna get his fanny spanked Really Good by his insurance co.
$100,000 claim? Gulp. Sure hope you had uninsured motorist, most people don't carry that much liability insurance.
And if 2ksoftails neck gets sore in the next couple days...

Yeah, it is scary driving a car where you know 20% of the people do not have insurance, 75% have only 100,000 or less, leaving you with only 5% of the people that can actually cover the cost of your car if they hit you. I freak out anytime someone tailgates me because I know how quick I can stop, and it is about 50 feet shorter than the idiot behind me.
