Question Transmission behavior. Is it normal?

Hello everyone. Got a question to you LC500 gurus

recently bought a 2021 convertible with Turing package Torsen LSD on 21” with a little over 2000miles on her.

driving her in normal mode makes me wonder if everything is normal. Driving slow especially after push on brake pedal makes her slow and suddenly too slow I can fill it like its downshifts a lot. Then when I press gas slightly to start rolling slow it is kinda hesitates till I press much harder and it jumps. I understand I need to adjust to her behavior, but maybe some recommendations. I still have my GS350 FSport and it fills much easier to drive it compare LC500.

No not normal.

I also have a GS350 FSport and my LC is beast in ever mode, Comfort, Normal, Sport, Sport +. The normal mode is a little smoother and shifts faster, but if I get into it she wakes up and drives like a bat outta Hell.

The previous owner may have driven her slow, maybe you need to “reprogram” the computer by driver her hard.

Not exactly understood what you were talking about getting into normal, but I agree it might be that previous owner drove it slow. So how to reset/reprogram it without driving it like crazy? What I also found that car doesn’t like relaxed way of acceleration, it likes it when I push it harder and it shifts even much smoother, but I am out of speed limit too fast It sounds like the car awakens after 50 mph

my LC seems to pick up on my mood. if i drive it like i am, an old man, it purrs along, politely; when i drive it like i wannabe a richard petty, it responds by keeping the revs up and the gears low.
the LC default setting seems to be Sport; other settings have one or more aspects detuned, and mine behaves best in Sport. i keep the revs up by downshifting, and the tranny just loves it.

Just drive it everyday in Sport+ for about a week or so. And yeah 50mph is over in seconds. And if you not watching it 130 comes up pretty quick also.

I had a similar issue in that my tranny wasn't reacting to harsh breaking or acceleration. It wouldn't downshift when slowing down to take on turns (in Sport or Sport +). So I took it to the dealer, and they "reflashed" it for me. The only issue tho, is that now it doesn't do anything, because the reprogramming process is SUPER difficult and you'll need quite a bit of open EMPTY highway to do it properly (which I tried with no success). So now I just either drive in ECO in AUTO trans or Sport+ in manual mode....

What does it mean - it doesn’t do anything? Is there any source to read about flashing and reprogramming? And why it requires an open highway. What about factory new cars with 5 miles on odometer? Do they require a difficult learning procedure?
I found that there is some methods to reset adaptive transmission, one of them to disconnect battery terminal, another one to pull efi fuse. Did anyone do that and saw any changes.
