2022 lexus certified or 2024 ?
I just wanted to get this question out to LC 500 owners or people who have had experience with the LC 500 currently or in the past.
I see the 2024 LC 500's are showing up at dealerships and I am currently looking to purchase a LC 500 with the Dynamic handling package. Very low mileage 2022's are available at $ 85,000.00 to $ 90,000.00 used L/C certified. A new 2024 with the dynamic handling package is MSRP at approximately $ 108,000.00.
Just curious if current LC owners feel that it is worth the additional $ 18,000.00 for the touchscreen infotainment screen and the new full view back up camera front and rear.
I do find the inspiration series very appealing but at $ 115,000.00 loaded, it does not offer the Red exterior color that I like the best ( sonic red) and I'm not sure if I like the rear wing appearance on the back, even though I know it helps with downforce.
Just curious if forum members feel like the 2022 is the way to go ?
Thank You.

if you can get a low mi 2022 for around 85K jump on it ; out the door your lookin' at 105K easy for any new model,
so one of these babies unloaded of initial depreciation at close to 20K off, you're in dreamland.... there is simply no other car like it; its a good deal

I waited to buy until the info and pictures were released of the updated 24' model to see if the upgrades were appealing to me. IMO the interior dash aesthetics have been completely ruined by the new touchscreen. The 360 cameras would have been nice to have but I have zero issues parking. I now own a 22 Inspiration series with 1500 miles on it. Saved some money and got the perfect spec for me. Couldn't be happier.

Feels like a new car.
Definitely recommend saving the $20k over new

So my advice is if you find a pre-2024 model in your preferred color choice that's L/Certified, I would go ahead and get it because the upgrades to the 2024 are not that drastic and may even be unwanted.
As far as the pre-2024 trac-pad interface goes, here's what I previously wrote about it in my initial drive report after driving it home 250 miles from Jax to Clearwater Beach:
And call me crazy but I actually enjoyed using the LC500’s much maligned infotainment trac-pad interface - it looks super cool lit up at night and trying to master it sort of reminded me of all the video games I enjoyed as a kid like Missile Command, LOL. The huge screen looks absolutely amazing tucked in the dash behind glass and the cabin is so expansive I can’t even reach the screen at full arm’s length whereas the C8 has the touch screen right up close by necessity. I really liked the interior design of the C8 but I think the LC’s is a bit better and is more roomy and sumptuous than the C8.
