Default Tear in my Beer

Just noticed this today in my ‘23. I moved from beer to bourbon, Buffalo Trace take me away.

Sadly the entire 7 foot panel will have to be replaced.

The car is unprovable until I get the claim processed as the high speed wind could/would cause the broken piece to flex into the tire.

Road debris from the other lane. I think a gator tail (shredded pieces of tire from a Semi Truck)

Wow, real bummer. It'll be back to normal soon

That's not your PPF in a square like that is it?

Finally got the right people to look at my car.

The licensed Lexus collision center has given me a total replacement quote $1525.

The great news - The entire piece comes directly from Lexus Japan PAINTED from the factory. It will be impossible to tell my baby was ever hurt.

This is really good to know. So glad Lexus will send it pre-painted, as I am not aware of too many paint shops can match the Motomachi Factory's quality. Good for you!

Wow, that's a lot of damage from a piece of rubber but glad it can be fixed easily.

Epylyaw sorry this happened, debris makes me cringe when I see it. We are built so low sometimes the debris is tough to avoid we come up on it quickly.
What type of material is behind the paint? White??

That’s great news! Is it the entire piece including the scoop all the way to the front tire? Beautiful car - what color is that?

It is a solid piece from rear tire to front tire. It included all new parts and clips as well as the rock tape on the bottom

The color is Cloudburst Grey

I'll chime in here, I had this exact mark on my LC as well when I first bought it on the driver side, I had it fixed (not replaced) out the door was 800, looks brand new (with factory PPF installed) with perfect color match (infrared).

I originally had mine fixed (not replaced). Fiberglass welding with a piece of metal glued behind it.

Apparently not strong enough to withstand speeds of over 130mph (not saying I ever did that)
