Default Leather issue?

I'm looking at a 2022 LC and found one that I'm interested in buying but noted a possible leather flaw on the passenger seat. Hard to take a picture but a patch of wrinkled leather. Concern if that indicates a possible early wear issue after purchase or not.

I haven't found any reference to this online anywhere, but wondering if i'm overthinking it. One new and one used at the dealer with the same issue. None of the others have it. Haven't seen it on any others either.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

Jon

If the car is still under warranty then it shouldn't matter as if it is a defect Lexus will warranty it.

But, IMO, Lexus did not use the best semi-aniline leather on the LC, sadly.

But white leather will show EVERY SINGLE IMPERFECTION....

Thanks. I'm overthinking it. Decided to buy it. The one I'm going with has the red/black interior. Looking forward to it!

I have an issue with my passenger bolster. It has wrinkling on it.
I am going to have the service manager at my dealership look at it during my next service.
Nothing major but I feel it should match the others.
Mine is the circuit red.

what wrinkles? actually i guess i see tiny ones there, but it's a natural material... if you want completely smooth, get a tesla with fake leather.

anyway, congrats on buying the car!

Fair. I was overthinking it. It was more obvious in person. Paperwork being signed today. I found the car while on a road trip, so I won’t be picking it up for a week or so.

👍

My RCF had a similar problem on the bolsters with creasing of the semianaline leather.

Lexus replaced the seat under warranty.
