Im in a M850 (direct competitor) with 523 underrated HP and will miss that dearly…it’s intoxicating.

I'm an EV snob as I think they're superior to gas, but the LC500 convertible is one of those verrrrrry few gas cars (probably the only gas car for me) I'd dream to own as a second car. I just love it and its perfect with the V8. And because of the V8, it ONLY belongs in convertible. The design, quality, interior design/quality, and v8 sound take center stage.
Any switch to a hybrid V6 or any V6 for that matter kills it for me.
I don't think any BMW or any mercedes compares. they're just your typical euro junk that will be worth 5k in a few years and that all bros aspire to own. The LC is unique. So yeah enjoy LC. there will never be a better gas car.

no question about overall reliability Lexus is generally better, but specifically for LC500, when the mentioned “typical euro junk” is worth 5k, LC500 is worth like 6K. And not in a few years, need more time.
Search online for used car price, you will see….

Wonder have you own LC500 price range BMW, say M4C, M5, 850?

I sold my 02 last year before purchasing my LC convert.
It had 70k miles and was in very good condition with all service records. Sold it for $16,000 in one day.
It was nowhere near the car the LC is.
A 22 year old Lexus that brought that kind of money should tell you something about resale value.
$6,000 for a used LC, not in our lifetime.

I think a good indicator of future value can be found by looking at what the SC430's are bringing.

When did you sell your SC430 if you don’t mind?
I sold my crap no option 2016 Nissan Versa at 42000 miles for $15000 immediately at Carmax at July 2022 for new 2022 Audi S6 Premium Plus fully loaded except for the night version.
I bought that crap Versa (no option at all) used at 2018 at 17000 miles for 12k…..
Local Lexus dealership is bad, contact other places for a LC500 now.
My point is sometimes people are just too exaggerating. Wonder if they ever actually own or experience these things.
