I understand... For me I'm really torn between red/cream or yellow/black.
I just thought I'd ask because this kind of car is outside my realm of expertise. I'm just a poor kid that grew up in the ghetto.
As they say money does not buy class .
My hope is that those who are much more in the car world or even halo car world would be able to give some insights as to why one would be better than the other.
ultimately its me that has to choose, and me that has to pay the bill lol...
I'm like you. Grew up poor. Now we here driving 6 figure cars. I don't think you can go wrong. I had the same struggle when getting my LC convertible. But if you want my opinion, bright colors are the best for these special cars. Look around, the majority of car colors are so boring. A sea of white, 50 shades of gray and blacks. The Yellow has a layer of ultra white covered by a yellow tinted clear I believe. The infrared is a special candy paint job from factory with the silver layer and translucent red clear coat. The red really pops in the sun and shows off the lines. Dark colors mask all the detail. The tan interior is super posh. The black again is somewhat sedate. Go red/tan
I can’t say about the Manhattenhenge interior without seeing it in person, especially how well does it work with the Cadmium exterior. But I bet it’s pretty nice. Special, only for the very confident or colorblind.
The Manhattenhenge build appears to be slightly different from the Manhattan Orange offered in Europe. The European version does not have the orange leather center stripe on the seats. It has instead more contrast orange/black stitching. The European seats look better. In any event, this car would definitely benefit with a Gloss Black wheel option, Black Chrome and Black Grill. Maybe those are options you can select in the Bespoke build.

If these were my only choices, I would choose the Yellow/Caramel.....More Unique....More Exclusive.
When trying to decide, imagine you were the only one left after the zombie apocalypse and the choice of color only affects how you feel about it. No one else there to care.
Our 19 coupe was Infrared/black. Not just any red, its genuinely spectacular. Liked the car a lot but had doubts about the boring black interior. Did not like to see them with caramel. Remorse, even slight.
A month ago the stars aligned such that going back to an LC made sense. Especially with all these convertibles available. The look of your car, Infrared/caramel/sand top looks perfect. The light top reminds me of Bentleys and Rolls that have stunned me with their elegance and class.
But what? An orange variant is available? Rare but doable. Found one and brought it home. Folks seem to love it too, taking pictures and all that. Its really not all that orange except in full sun, and then mainly highlights.
But no matter what, your color combination will be the classic LC preference. Something to see.
So, in your opinion, since you owned both, which color do you like better, IR or CO ?

No, I think it is the Alcantara seats have the orange stripe on the seats. The full leather seats have the orange stitching instead. So, depends what package you order or if you get Bespoke, where you can chose either one. I like them both, something pretty cool about an orange/black interior. It's a one of a kind car and should have a "rare" looking interior to give it the "wow" factor imho.

I addressed this just now in the parallel thread I started when I was at this same point in the purchase decision. Thank you for asking.
I got CO because already had an IR. If doing it again I might consider the green. Very incognito and can play up the British sports car aura.
The red is spectacular. Depends on what you want to project to the world. Are you comfortable being that noticeable?
But don”t worry, people won’t be hanging out of cars taking your picture at stoplights like some cars. Kids will not be taking pictures of each other with your car. But they will notice you.
ChicagoRJ --- I pray that you are correct. However, the inclusion of an orange center stripe on seating appears exclusive to the American version. Seems odd that Lexus would promote this stripe if it were not available on all seating options of the Manhattan Henge interior.

Thanks. I do love them both. And since I already have an orange/bronze vet, it makes sense to get the red so I can enjoy both colors

In the Build your Lexus format, you only get the stripe on the MH interior if you chose a package with Alcantara sport seats. If you don't, and chose full leather (non sport seats) then you get black seats with orange stitching. Nothing else appears to change in the interior except the seats.
At least, that is how the system is showing when you build your LC. I prefer the stripe but prefer the non Alcantara seats. So many choices, it's fun and frustrating at the same time, lol
