****If you notice the name, RCFGrandppa, you'll see why. He also owns an Orange RCF and that is his Pride an Joy. He's put a lot of money into it and that is his main form of transportation. Though his driving miles are limited, his preferred ride is the RCF.

Here's just one of his threads:

My current mileage is 2,041 as of today 9/6/22. Been driving my RCF. I prefer driving it to the LC.

You got it right! I have four vehicles, 3 are Lexus, but the RCF is my pride and joy. You are also correct that I paid $25,000.00 for my interior in the last 7 1/2 years. And one more thing, yes, I have 4 grandkids and the oldest is 22. I don’t drive the RCF and LC in the rain, and I live in Seattle where it rains all the time.

My 2015 RCF with 11,332 miles on it as of today 9/6/22.

Hell Yeah! I remember this beauty.....I took pictures the first time I saw it on the showroom floor. If I ever did an RC, this is the one I would have!
Impressive collection!

OK, I think I have narrowed down my choices to 3. All coupes

(1) Infrared with toasted caramel
(2) Nightfall Mica with TC
(3) NM with grey.

IR gets tons of love on this thread, but I did see NM on another Lexus and it looked amazing as well. Not as much of a head turner but still beautiful.

I’m in full search mode plus getting refundable deposits to get on dealer waiting lists…

Looking forward to that Great Granpa status. Our 3 oldest grandkids are now married, 1 last year and 2 this year. A true blessing! Greats in Gods timing.
The getaway car for my grandson and bride in July was the LC, and he made it R O A R !!

best of luck! infrared is indeed incredible, but i just don't see myself in a red car no matter how nice.
i've seen nightfall mica in person a couple of times, and honestly if i could have found one when i was looking, i would have bought it. AWESOME, and love how it looks so different in different light.
i have caviar which is a bit less interesting but there's so much sparkle (metal flake) in it, that it's amazing in brighter light. otherwise it looks just very dark gray. still love it though.
as for interior, i had light cream interior on my last vehicle so went with black on the LC, and love it. i think lexus overdoes the non-black on the interior (too much of a good thing).

anyway, i think the pickins' are going to be slim so i recommend doing a nationwide search on autotrader often. that's how i found mine, 900 mi. away!

Hah! That's exactly what my wife said -- I don't see you in a red car. She likes the NM also. Am continuing to scour the country. A dealer in Georgia lists a 2021 NM/TC with 5k miles as a "new" vehicle. Probably a misprint but carguru.com flags it with a warning that it might have been a service loaner.

no way an lc500 was a service loaner, but maybe it was a dealer demo and not 'sold' ?
