I'm prejudiced because from the moment I saw "Infrared/Toasted Caramel" at the "Philadelphia Auto Show," I knew THAT was the color combo for me. Can't tell you how many cars I've had in that metallic red color over the years. I sold my '09 Corvette in Crystal Red Metallic, replaced it with this, and couldn't be happier:
I love the infrared, but if I am a hard driver (hypothetically), I wouldn't want to attract attention. Ie, ("Hello, 911? Some ******* in a red car just blew by me at 90mph!")
I'm surprised smoky granite is getting votes. I didn't think it was a popular color.
Infrared was the color of the original LF-LC so...it's the only color even worth considering No wait, pick any other color, that way my Infrared will appreciate in resale value by being rare.

Of the 3 colors, smoky granite IMO. But, I "voted" for "other" and would hold out for structural blue.... (if one is to be had...).
I think I'm leaning towards the atomic silver. It's not getting votes though. I'm surprised. What is it about the smoky granite that people are liking?
I ordered the LC 500 in smoky granite (May delivery) when I compared the smoky granite to the atomic silver on LC 500s on the dealer's showroom floor. The atomic silver was so "everyday, IMHO" to many of the colors of standard sedans currently on the road. The smoky granite seemed to match the luxury look of a super modern car like the LC 500.

Thank you for your reasoning. It gives me something to think about/weigh.
I just ordered mine in Atomic Silver/Toasted Caramel. I think it makes the car look elegant. I was considering the Infrared but to me it made the car look "sporty". I like the James Bond look of the Atomic Silver better.
Google James Bond cars and you'll see a majority of them were either silver or some type of gold color. However, there was the cool copper-red Lotus turbo Esprit in For Your Eyes Only.
Honestly the LC is such a beautiful car you could throw almost any color on it and the car would look good.

I also think the Atomic Silver is quite handsome and definitely elegant on this car. It doesn't shout out "look at me" like the red, blue or white. But very classy color.
