Does “Drive Mode Customization” override “Sport S/S+”?
So I was fiddling around for the first time with Vehicle Customization to change the Easy-Exit settings and I stumbled upon “Drive Mode Customization”.
I saw that my “Powertrain” was set to “Normal” so I switched it to “Power” and my “Chassis” was set to “Normal” so I switched it to “Sport”. It’s pouring rain right now so I don’t want to go for a drive but will this make a noticeable difference?
I usually set my car to “Sport S” or “Sport S+“ but have I been missing out on full power and handling by having the Powertrain and Chassis set to Normal previously?
I would read my manual but I’m still waiting for my dealer to send it to me.

The Drive Mode customization is only relevant if the mode selector is set to "Custom". My Drive Mode is "Custom" for 95% of my Driving. I have Powertrain set to Normal and Chassis set to Sport. The reason I use Normal for Powertrain is because I want to go above 8th gear when cruising on a Freeway. In Sport and Sport+ you're limited to 8th as your top gear. In Normal it willl shift to 10th. And, "Normal" is pretty rambunctious compared to my ISF See the chart below for more info:

I have an ISF 2011 model and always keen to hear what isf owners think of the LC500 if they own/have driven both.
Thanks!

^^^^MY ISF was very lazy with gear changes in Normal mode, Sport mode awakened it, but not as crisp is the LC in Normal mode. As far as handling, I always drove in Sport Mode with the ISF, I don't really recall what Normal handling mode was like I did have RRRacing USRS LCA bushings. The LC is a bigger car. The ISF was a bit more nimble, but the LC handles really good with the chassis set to Sport.
