What would be cool is if you could get it to attach to the underside of the arm rest. Some way to slide it or clip the phone in there. It would keep it out of sight, and still allow things in the actual storage compartment.

made me curious... this one's pricey, but maybe would work...
I've thought about putting a magsafe charger in the armrest console for my iPhone, but I've realized it's just not a big deal at all. Phone batteries last so long now. On short rides I don't even bother plugging it in. On long rides I just plug it in. It's pretty trivial. The more important thing to me is wireless CarPlay, which works great in my '24.
I mean I got both sides but for me.. spending north of $100k for a car.. in 2024...even in 2023 I expect wireless android auto and a phone charger. I do.. I don't care if its a track car or a grandma car... if technology didn't matter I would purchase a car pre-1970..
There is enough space for a charge pad. They removed track pad but left the palm rest. If they remove the palm rest and shift the heat seat/steering wheel button to the top next to the camera, the space can be utilized for a charge pad.
Again, not a big deal. But I do look for a place to put my phone when I get into the car. The glove box is too much work to get in and out of.

I looked for some type of phone holder (even though mines a '23, I use the Ottocast for wireless). Tried the side door pocket, moved around too much and forgot it several times. Also Tried the glovebox along with the center rest area, hassle. Currently I'm wedging it between the cup holder door and hand hold, so far stays put and I can still see it. I wish they had done something like my '21 NX, a small slot in the console above the shifter, phone fits perfect. Someone in the Club did show a seat gap filler that had a phone slot, the one I'm currently using does not (mine added a cup holder for the wife). So wedged it is at that moment.

I think these are available in the US and tend to be the preferred option here in the UK:
Thanks. I’ve tried some similar (cup mounts, vent mounts, some with articulating goose necks etc) but they all seem to break up the asymmetry of the dash. Cell phones are ubiquitous, one would think by now holders/placement would be seamless (along with charging/ports). I guess they did include the Lexus Quick Charge Cables case ($85.00) as an afterthought.
As for the Lexus wireless charging; one of my RX350L’s had the wireless charger (Qi?). Not sure it really charged per se, was more like a maintainer. It was so finicky with phone placement (and don’t even try to have any type of case on the phone) I stopped using it. Oh, and once the phone got so hot it deformed the plastic. But for some it probably worked. At least if nothing else it provided a place to put the phone.

But the palm rest is where the convertible top down and windows down & up with the top are located. So that works for the coupe but not for the convertible. I like where they have it in the console as it keeps the phone from sliding around as well.
