Default “What does it go for - a hundred and fifty grand?”

So I finished pumping gas last night and as I’m easing back into my seat I hear someone call over to me: “What is that?!?” I look up and see this excited middle aged guy walking over to me, so I tell him “Just a Lexus - the LC model”, then he asks “Is it something new?” and I said “no it’s a 2021 model but they don’t make very many”, then he asks “Is it fast?” and I say “not really but it has 471 hp so it’s not exactly slow either”, then he says ”It’s absolutely beautiful - enjoy!” and walks towards the convenience store.

I hit the start button and the engine does its initial start up blast with crackles and pops and the guy stops dead in his tracks, turns around and comes back to ask me “What does it go for - a hundred and fifty grand?” I was gonna say “yes” but I was honest and told him mine had a sticker of 113

I got the same question like you all the time, make me think what if I put Acura logo over the Lexus logo, when the non car person ask me, I will tell him it an Acura, just for fun.

When I first bought my LC convertible I had a mid-60yo guy in a Mustang next to me at a gas station and, after commenting on his beautiful it was, he asked “do those go for around $60k?”
