Its not difficult at all, I didn't do it personally but I saw my mechanic do it. Not too much involved. The conversion of the OEM struts to bags is where the complication comes in. Not straightforward at all and it's highly recommended to let a professional do it. I would never attempt to do it from seeing what's involved.

awesome. Didn’t realize my car looks really similar to start with. I’ve also got an order in with precision forged and I’m on week 5.

Had my car showcased at Kleen Edition this past weekend. Had my air tank wrapped white with Mod Automotive emblem. Also had my calipers painted red and ceramic coated, which came out better than I could of imagined!

Did you buy the UAS kit with “no cutting” and you ended up having to cut the struts? Any idea on how hard the bags are on the oem struts? I heard that it’s not advisable to replace the springs with air springs on oem struts as they’ll blow out very quickly. Any insight?

I bought the cut and modify version. Who told you its not advisable? I am the 4th LC with this setup and none of us have reported issues. It rides like OEM other than when going on irregular/uneven surfaces. If I were to do it all over again, I would spend the money on Air Runner struts as its an easier install. The real trick is figuring out how to lay the entire frame on the ground, which I suspect will need T-Demand suspension parts.

Cut The Original Struts?
I'm glad to see You have it Exactly like You want it.
I hope you NEVER plan to get rid of it.
I think it's going to be nearly impossible to sell it to anyone without taking a monumental loss.

Looks like you're local to me, I don't have a LC500 (yet) I just lurk the forums. The LC would be a perfect garage mate for the Supra, will probably drive the LC more , a good friend of mine in FL has one, and as you all know it's a beautiful machine.

Spur of the moment thing happened last week and drove 2 hours to RR racing. Rafi asked if he could create a prototype mount for their new Air/Oil separator. It fits the F cars but the LC500 didn't have a mount yet. Only issue was figuring out if you needed to cut the engine cover to make room for the larger tubes. I also picked up the prototype of their new carbon fiber engine cover.

^^^^I just installed their Pulley Damper on Monday. I had their catch can (AOS) on my ISF. Will they be announcing one for the LC? I'll be first in line

yup, they will most likely release it soon. They will contact me when it’s ready to be mounted. How do you like the performance of the pulley damper?

As far as the pulley damper:

However that thread has been ruined by the postings of another forum member.

@drutyper did Rafi mention anything about a SC for the LC? I know Boostlogic has been supposedly working on it for the past 3-4 years, but nothing came of it. Understandably, there wasn't an ECU tune available but now, apparently Tuned by LOI has cracked the ECU. Just curious if RR had mentioned anything.

IMO Rafi won't invest R&D into the LC because there are so few in the market to warrant the investment. I highly doubt he will spend time and money into an SC. I talked to him about suspension option to compete with T-Demand and I don't think he will since it'll take him forever to get his investment back. Also, most LC owners won't modify their vehicles because its only really popular to mod an LC in Japan.

I've asked other shops and the only one that I think could possibly consider it is

garage out in Huntington Beach CA. They were the ones that created the air bag conversion kit that I have in my LC.

just got my wheels from precision last week and took just a little over 8 weeks. The wheels look great and aside from breaking a TPMS, the install went smoothly
